Returns & Limited Lifetime Warranty
At American Heritage Bowhunting Company, every product is handcrafted with careful attention to performance, durability and lasting value. If you experience a problem with your order, please contact us at support@americanheritagebowhunting.com.
30-Day Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the product is unused, undamaged and returned in its original condition.
To request a return, email support@americanheritagebowhunting.com with your order number and reason for the return. Please wait for return instructions before shipping your product.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the product arrived damaged, defective or incorrect. Original expedited-shipping charges are nonrefundable. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If it was damaged during shipping or you received the wrong product, contact us promptly at support@americanheritagebowhunting.com. Include your order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging.
If the claim is approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Limited Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty
American Heritage Bowhunting Company warrants its handcrafted sharpening paddles to the original retail purchaser against defects in materials and craftsmanship for as long as that purchaser owns the product.
Covered defects may include:
- Structural failure of the wooden paddle during normal use
- Separation of laminated wood components
- Failure of the leather-to-wood adhesive bond
- Failure of installed hardware caused by defective materials or workmanship
For an approved warranty claim, American Heritage Bowhunting Company will, at its discretion, repair the product, replace it with the same or a reasonably comparable product, or refund the original purchase price if repair or replacement is not practical.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear, cuts, scratches, staining or compound buildup on the leather
- Leather that becomes worn through ordinary stropping and sharpening
- Normal wear, dulling, corrosion or damage to the removable file
- Cosmetic variations in natural wood or leather, including differences in color, grain, figure or texture
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, excessive force, improper storage or exposure to extreme moisture, heat or environmental conditions
- Damage caused by modifications, unauthorized repairs or use for purposes other than those intended
- Products purchased secondhand or from an unauthorized seller
Natural variations are part of the character of a handcrafted product and are not considered defects.
Making a Warranty Claim
To begin a warranty claim, email support@americanheritagebowhunting.com with:
- Your name and order number
- A description of the problem
- Clear photographs showing the affected area
Do not ship the product until you receive return instructions. For approved warranty claims within the United States, American Heritage Bowhunting Company will provide or reimburse reasonable standard shipping required to complete the repair or replacement.
This limited warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
