Good luck this Season!!

Good luck this season as more and more states open up. My season started last Saturday 9/12. In the evening I was able to set up in between bedding & a soybean field right on top of a creek bed that had heavily browsed jewelweed in it. The woods were electric with squirrels cutting acorns and 20 minutes before last light a GIGANTIC doe stepped into 5 yards in front of me. The wind was in my favor and I had great cover but she just knew something wasn’t right. She hung out for a minute or two but never giving me a broadside or quartering away opportunity – just faced straight ahead towards me. My guess is that she caught a bit of scent of where I walked around. She leapt off without blowing and I was instantly reminded of why I love hunting with a stick and string so much.
